Sharing our testimony of what God has done is a means of worship. "And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole" (Luke 17:16-19). The definition of Testimony is the evidence in support of a fact or statement; proof, evidence testifying to something. This blogsite was designed to give encouragement to someone who is going through the same thing that you've went through. If you live long enough, you will be faced with a trial and/or test in your life. You never know how your story can help the person seeking encouragement to a situation they are going through right now. So please take the time to share your testimony and be a blessing to someone else. When we share our testimony, it encourages others to believe in God.

The Number 3

Okay! , yet another testimony that I must share.  Well, last week, I was at my mother's house.  She said, "Daughter, please read something to me." I praise God that me and my mother began this relationship centered around reading together. It was not always like that.  But God has a way to turn relationships around. BUT back to my testimony...So I flipped through the bible.  The Lord stopped my hand at John chapter 21.  As I read the whole chapter to my mom I was totally lost. LOL  I said, "Mom, I will need to study this chapter and get back to you on this one."  I  don’t understand.  So you know what saints, I had to dig deep.  So on yesterday, the Holy Spirit said write something on your blog about John 21st chapter.  But as I tried to read through it again, I was totally lost and didn’t get a thing from it.  LOL.  SO!  This morning, I grabbed the bible and began to flip through it.  The Lord stopped me on....you know...John 21st Chapter!  I said okay!  I yield, I yield.  This was the THIRD time the Lord brought me to this chapter. So I begin to dig deep!  I finally got what He was trying to tell me!

John 21st chapter begins with Simon Peter and several other disciples fishing in a boat.  But the whole night they caught nothing.  Early that morning, Jesus standing on the shore called out to them and told them to throw their net on the right side of the boat and they will find some.  When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.  It was full of LARGE fish, 153.

What I got from studying that part of the chapter is that the disciples experienced failure and discovered that WITHOUT Jesus they can do nothing.  We need to be obedient to Him and our labor will be fruitful.

But this is the part that really got me, which reads…18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!”  John 21:18-19

After studying this part of the chapter, I discovered you no longer have self will but now you are coming under the will of another (JESUS!). This is SUBMISSION.  And in that submission, he will take you places sometimes where you don’t want to go.

Teach me Father!  Help me to surrender to Your will.

Oh, Hallelujah!!!!!!

This is my testimony on this wonderful Wednesday... God speaks to me

Well, well, well...I can say that God has been speaking to me.  Everytime I have a situation in my life, I would turn to the Bible.  But when I turn to the bible, I don’t just read from anywhere.  I ask God to lead my hand as I flip the pages back and forth.  At that very moment, I am lead to stop at a particular page.  It amazes me everytime.  God speaks directly to my situation through the word.  For example... Tuesday Morning, I was speaking to my mom about evil spirits and how Jesus would cast the evil spirits out of people.   ( Its real world, so real.)  Well the SAME DAY, when I got to work, I received an email from Daily Bible.  This is an automated generated email that is sent to my email daily to keep me feed. ( I must be surrounded by His word at all times!) The Daily Bible's scripture  email was coming from Mark 1:21-28.  Which reads...21 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach. 22 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law. 23 Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, 24 “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”
25 “Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!” 26 The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.
27 The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.” 28 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.

I immediately thought wow!  But that's not all... We had revival at our church (That same day) last night and the preacher sermon came from Mark 5: 1-9.  Which reads... They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes.[a] 2 When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him. 3 This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain. 4 For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him. 5 Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
6 When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. 7 He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God’s name don’t torture me!” 8 For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!”
9 Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”
“My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” 10 And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.

Okay!  God, what are you trying to tell me?  I think I know but I need more clarification.  To be continued...

This is my testimony on today...

16 Come and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. 17 I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. 18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; 19 but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. 20 Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! Psalms 66:16-20

Prayer is very important.  I pray that you who is reading this, that you don't have sin cherished in your heart. I pray that the Lord remove any sin that I may have in my heart.  We need the Lord every day.  Don't you want Him to hear your prayer?  I do...

Smile,  It's Monday!
